Black Sabbath 's farewell show , Back To The Beginning , you can expect a big price increase if you stay overnight in a hotel near Villa Park , the stadium where the band will be playing, according to the local newspaper Birmingham Live .

The price of a night's stay has increased by up to 725% for those booking a room on the day of the legendary band's performance.

The publication gives the example of the 3-star Apollo Hotel , located a 15-minute drive away, where a "superior" double room without breakfast on the day of the show costs £619 (approximately R$4,453), while, in contrast, if you book on the same website for June 28th, the same room costs £75 (approximately R$539) per night.

Other examples given include a Travelodge , in Broadway Plaza , which is 14 minutes from the show, costing £319.99 (approximately R$2300) on July 5th, the day of the performance, however, only £53.99 (approximately R$388) on June 28th.

In Yardley , another Travelodge 22 minutes away costs £303.99 (approximately R$2180) on the day of the show, but £47.99 (approximately R$345) on June 28th.

In addition to the complications of finding accommodation on the day of the show, according to BBC News , on the day tickets went on sale, February 14th, the waiting list reached 60,000 people, while Villa Park has a seating capacity of 42,000 spectators.

If you were lucky enough to get through the queue, you should have come across ticket prices ranging from 200 pounds (approximately R$1,439) to thousands (for reference, 1,000 pounds is approximately R$7,199). 

Back To The Beginning will be the band's first and last show with the original lineup since 2005, and also the last for Ozzy Osbourne, who has been battling Parkinson's disease .

In addition to previously announced guests such as Gojira , Metallica , Slayer , Pantera , Halestorm , and other artists like Tom Morello , Black Sabbath added Guns N' Roses , Tool , and Rival Sons to the event.
