Black Sabbath concert in São Paulo resulted in a fine for Morumbi stadium

Morumbi Stadium hosted Black Sabbath in 2016

The Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo received a fine of R$ 50,000 from the Public Prosecutor's Office for exceeding the permitted noise limit.

According to ESPN , the stadium received the fine a few weeks ago, and the accusation is based on an assessment by the Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo (CETESB).

The inspection relies on measuring the noise level at three points around the club at two different times.

The São Paulo club sought legal recourse, alleging illegality in the verification of the event, which, according to them, was done during heavy rain, thus affecting the outcome.

The Black Sabbath concert took place in December 2016 and drew 65,000 people to Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo.
