In the Wikimetal poll, we asked which band is most missed in the world of Rock and Metal today.
Unsurprisingly, first place went to Black Sabbath with 62% of the votes, followed by the Ramones with 27% and Mötley Crüe with 6%.
Black Sabbath officially retired in 2017 after The End , but its original lineup first broke up in 1979 when Ozzy Osbourne was replaced by Ronnie James Dio on vocals.
Later, Ozzy returned to the band and continued with the group until their farewell tour. In total, Black Sabbath has nine studio albums and is still considered one of the landmarks in the history of Heavy Metal.
