Ozzy will perform solo in place of the band
Black Sabbath posted a message on their official Facebook page today stating that the band will not be playing at Ozzfest in Japan. Instead, Ozzy's solo band will be performing a show with "special guests.".
In the promotional video for the show, Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, had stated that the performance would be Black Sabbath's farewell. The band, which had announced last year that it would record another studio album, did not comment on Sharon's announcement.
Ozzfest will take place on November 21st and 22nd.
