The list of nominees for the 2014 Grammy Awards was announced this weekend in Los Angeles. In the Best Metal Performance category, the nominees are as follows:

TNT – Anthrax
God Is Dead? — Black Sabbath
The Enemy Inside — Dream Theater
In Due Time — Killswitch Engage
Room 24 — Volbeat and King Diamond

The album “13” was also nominated for Best Rock Album, along with “Celebration Day” by Led Zeppelin, “The Next Day” by David Bowie, “Mechanical Bull” by Kings Of Leon, “…Like Clockwork” by Queens Of The Stone Age and “Psychedelic Pill” by Neil Young With Crazy Horse.

God Is Dead? also received a nomination for best Rock song, along with Panic Station (Muse), Cut Me Some Slack (Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear), Ain't Messin 'Round (Gary Clark Jr.) and Doom And Gloom (The Rolling Stones).

The Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on January 26, 2014, in Los Angeles.
