Black Sabbath announced yesterday, January 13, 2013, the title and release date of their next album. With their original lineup, except for Bill Ward on drums, who has been replaced by Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine), the band is working with producer Rick Rubin.
The new album will simply be called 13 , and it will be released in June of this year. The specific release date has not been determined. With this lineup, this will be their first album since Never Say Die , released in 1978.
The band has already announced the first tour dates, prior to the CD release, with shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan in April.
