Amidst all the chaos on Earth, almost everyone wanted to find a way to leave the planet, right? That's what astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Harley managed to do when they embarked on a space mission on Saturday, the 30th. And to make the moment even more exciting, the duo chose rock classics to take them to the stars.
According to CNN SpaceX Crew Dragon astronauts AC/DC 's "Back In Black" on their way to the spacecraft before launch. And on Sunday, when they were woken up to continue their journey to the International Space Station, where they successfully arrived, the soundtrack couldn't have been more perfect: Black Sabbath ," a song with lyrics referencing stars and skies.
The choice of a somewhat rock n' roll had already been made by Behnken in a 2010 mission, in which the song chosen to awaken him was "Parabola" by Tool .
