Black Pantera was one of the winners of the 2025 Brazilian Music Award – now titled the BTG Pactual Brazilian Music Award.
The 32nd edition of the event took place last Wednesday night, the 4th, at the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro. The awards ceremony brought together guests from different musical styles, in addition to a special tribute to Chitãozinho and Xororó .
Black Pantera won the award in the Rock Artist . However, also in the rock category, Planet Hemp won the award for Rock Release with the DVD Based on Real Facts: 30 Years of Smoke (Live ).
Currently considered the most important award in Brazilian music, the BTG Pactual Brazilian Music Award originated as the Sharp Award in 1987. The event maintained this name for over a decade – until 1998. Subsequently, the major brand gave a new boost to national culture as a well-deserved celebration of musicians. The award highlights the talent and richness of music produced throughout Brazil in its diverse genres and styles.
Black Panther at The Town
Black Pantera will perform at The Town , a festival taking place on September 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at the Interlagos racetrack in São Paulo.
The performance by the band from Minas Gerais will take place on September 7th , on the Quebrada stage, previously announced as a brand-new stage that will thrill everyone who passes through it.
Green Day , Sex Pistols , and Bruce Dickinson will perform Iggy Pop will headline, along with Pitty , CPM 22 , and Supla & Inocentes .
Tickets are sold exclusively through Ticketmaster Brazil , the event's official ticketing company, or at the physical box office in Shopping Ibirapuera.
