Last Friday, the 10th, Black Pantera Perpétuo .

The new track was composed by Chaene as a tribute to her mother, but it's a tribute to all mothers and people who fulfill this role.

Another topic addressed in the song is the issue of racism: "Today, as an adult, I understand better how structural racism affected her life.".

Regarding the music video, directed by Carol Borges of Quasque Filmes, Chaene said: “We wanted to translate into the video, as well as the lyrics, a story that reflected the story of my mother and of many Black mothers in Brazil and around the world. It's an incredible, poetic video, and all the references are there. We are very happy with the result.”

In addition to this, the band has also released "Proverbs," which will be part of this upcoming record.

Perpétuo will be released on May 24th by the Deck label and deals with themes of ancestry, with influences from Latin music.
