After releasing their heavy album, Ascensão , Black Pantera released the lyric video for the track “A Besta” this Tuesday, the 12th.
Charles Gama describes as "a real metal track, one of the heaviest hardcore songs on the album." He comments: "It was made to let out our daily lives, to unleash our inner beast, whatever wants to come out, to scream, to create chaos and also peace. Hell is already here, releasing the demons is also a right!"
The lyric video follows the rhythm of the music and has a kind of 90s aesthetic, with uninterrupted sequences of images passing by quickly, including religious iconography and engravings, insects, animals, color distortion, and plenty of red.
“The lyrics really resonate with that and need the anger I express in my singing. The riff is also chromatic and worked really well with the imagery, the lyrics, and the weight the song requires,” concludes Charles Gama.
Black Pantera's album "Ascensão" was released in early March and features collaborations with Rodrigo Lima of Dead Fish and the Brazilian indie trio Tuyo .
