Black Moon Riders releases new single; check out “We Are The Riders”

With guitar influences from Zakk Wylde and Kirk Hammett, the track encourages listeners to face their fears

The band Black Moon Riders has some exciting news: the single “We Are The Riders” recently arrived with arrangements by Magnus Wichimann of Rage In My Eyes . And that's not all, the group has also announced that their next unreleased track, “The Moon is Calling,” is coming soon.

“'We Are The Riders' is an invitation for everyone to join the band and face their fears together,” says vocalist Átila Ferrarez . “For a more humane and egalitarian world. Without prejudice, without hatred, a world that accepts people as they are. The song was made in partnership with a long-time collaborator of the band, Leonardo Theobald , but I wanted to give the composition a more current feel, one that represented the band's new phase. So I called Magnus Wichmann for the arrangements, another long-time partner. I wanted to give it a more Motown Records, more Black Music feel, which are my influences, along with Metal and many others.”

“My biggest influence is 80s and 90s Metal; I’m a big fan of Zakk Wylde and Kirk Hammett ,” shares guitarist Rômulo Inamoratto . “I tried to find a similar sound, adding my technique to the creation of the solos and the execution of the music itself. Recording is always a complicated moment; the technique is put to the test, and we have to have everything sorted out to arrive at the studio relaxed.”

Black Moon Riders consists of Átila Ferrarez (vocals), Rudimar Marchant (bass), and Rômulo Inamoratto (guitar), and on this track they were joined by Andrêss Fontanella (drums), Yuseff Lima (backing vocals), and Rochele Fernanda (backing vocals).
