Black Label Society releases music video for “Trampled Down Below” filmed at the Royal Albert Hall.

Grimmest Hits album tour.

Black Label Society has released the music video for their single “Trampled Down Below” from their album Grimmest Hits , released in January of this year. The video was filmed during a performance by the band at the famous Royal Albert Hall in London, England, and was directed by Dan Sturgess.

The show took place earlier this year when the band was in Europe promoting their new album. “People look at it and think it’s a greatest hits album, but I don’t have any hits, so how can we make a compilation of them? It’s ‘grimmest’ [the worst, the most dreadful],” guitarist Zakk Wylde Wikimetal in an interview .

He also spoke about the creative process behind Grimmest Hits : “We were on tour with Zakk Sabbath and I remember we had 20 days to write an album, and that’s what I did. Every day, every morning I would get up and start writing riffs. The way I see it, if you can do something today, great, if not, that’s okay, tomorrow is a new day. You keep writing until you get something you like.”

Wylde was recently in Brazil with Ozzy Osbourne on the Prince of Darkness' farewell tour
