The Black Dahlia Murder's last album was released in 2017
“Kings Of The Night World” is the new music video from The Black Dahlia Murder. The song belongs to the band's eighth album, Nightbringers , which was released last October by Metal Blade Records.
“Death Metal and night are synonymous for me ,” explains Trevor Strnad, the band’s vocalist. “We are the rulers of the dark hours that Christians fear. Many archaic ideas that are still held – like marriage and monogamy – came from Christianity, whether people want to acknowledge it or not, and for me, Death Metal has always been about that, it’s about ‘being the villain’s music,’ because we are the enemy of Christianity, the enemy of everything that is good and traditional. Death Metal is for free thinkers, it’s about showing people the path to their inner strength and acting on their own will, instead of doing what they are told and living in fear, and songs like the title track and Kings of the Night World are about leading a legion of awakened minds into battle.”
