Internationally renowned, the Rio de Janeiro-based group Black Circle gained notoriety in early 2020 with a cover of Pearl Jam ," which had just been released on the album Gigaton .
Brazilians were surprised by the quality of all the musicians' performances, especially Lenny Prado , which closely resemble those of Pearl Jam's vocalist, Eddie Vedder .
The surprise not only pleased Brazilian fans, but also Vedder. During the COVID-19 quarantine, the band's leader invited Black Circle to open a benefit event they produced on Amazon Music's Twitch channel in November 2020.
The band already has two albums released, Mercury (2020) and Pandora (2023), and will present their work at the 89 Halloween Rock Fest, a party by Rádio Rock, which will take place in São Paulo. Check out more information about the event and then get to know the sound of Black Circle.
Halloween Rock Fest
The 89 Halloween Rock Fest takes place on October 18th in São Paulo, at Sonora Garden, drawing inspiration from classic Halloween celebrations in the United States, Ireland, and England.
The festival will feature a lineup of live performances, mixing cover bands and original acts. Performers will include Almanak , Black Circle, Supla , and Marcão Britto & Thiago Castanho – Charlie Brown Jr 30 Years .
