Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have teamed up for the soundtrack of the highly anticipated new film Bird Box.
Trent Reznor has teamed up with bandmate Atticus Ross to release the soundtrack for the highly anticipated new Netflix film, Bird Box .
The duo, who previously collaborated on the soundtrack for The Social Network , released a 10-track version of the soundtrack. It is available on the official Nine Inch Nails .
The streaming release is scheduled for January 25th.
A longer version, "which will contain an additional hour of music with visual artwork," will be released in the middle of the year.
“Like all the soundtracks we release, our intention is that they play like an album that takes you on a journey. That the music can exist as a companion to the film and as a separate work,” said Reznor and Ross.
“We created a significant amount of music and concept sounds for Bird Box . Much of it didn't make it into the final version of the film. We decided to gift the fans with this version of the soundtrack that represents what Bird Box means to us. We hope you enjoy it.”
