Ozzy Osbourne biopic: children weigh in on who should play Ozzy and Sharon.

Jack and Kelly Osbourne revealed who their favorites are to play their parents in a biopic about the couple

Ozzy Osbourne biopic , announced in 2021, was a topic of conversation during the Osbourne siblings' podcast, where Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne discussed potential actors who could portray the beloved couple Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne .

“Who do you want to play you?” Jack asked, prompting his sister Kelly to say, “I know who I want to play Mom— Florence Pugh. I think Florence Pugh would do a fantastic job.” The 28-year-old actress recently starred in the critically acclaimed Dune: Part Two , as well as the Oscar- Best Picture, Oppenheimer . Sharon added, “I think Florence Pugh or the little girl from Game of Thrones ,” referring to Maisie Williams .

Who would play Ozzy in his biopic?

Jack suggested, “You know who I want to play Dad? Bill Hader. ” He continued, “Everyone thinks I’m crazy until I show them a side-by-side photo, and this guy’s ability to transform himself.”

Jack then showed his father a photograph of the American comedy actor, to which Ozzy replied, “Fuck off!” His wife disagreed, repeatedly agreeing with Jack and saying, “I think he could nail it.”

There are currently no recent updates on the development of the biopic; however, according to the Osbournes’ podcast, it is set to explore the famous couple’s relationship from 1979 to 1999, covering the rise of Ozzy’s solo career after the Black Sabbath vocalist’s departure.

Ozzy made a pointed comment during the show about the project being stalled, saying, “By the time we finish this movie, I’ll be dead.”
