After more than a decade without releasing a new project, Billy Idol is back with a new album packed with collaborations.

With his new album, Dream Into It , the vocalist is back. The album is scheduled for release on April 25th. Idol stated that the new work aims to recapture his legendary energy.

It's not just a new album being released; Billy Idol's album features special appearances by artists such as Avril Lavigne , Joan Jett , and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) . In this way, Idol connects with artists of his generation but also opens doors to a new audience. His collaborations with Avril and Alison Mosshart are examples of this. The album promises to have the same feel as the 80s, the peak of his success and where he solidified himself as the artist he is.

The singer, whose last work was in 2014, recently released his new single: “Still Dancing”. The song has been available on digital platforms since February 26th, and it revives a faster-paced rock sound with energetic guitars and drums. As the vocalist himself says, the track references the classic “Dancing With Myself” and the early days of his career.

“At the beginning of the song, I’m remembering the early days in London, when I was living in dorms or at friends’ houses, still with all my belongings in a plastic bag. Then, punk rock gave me an opening, and music has always been my greatest strength,” reveals Idol.

Following the release of his new album, the vocalist will embark on a tour with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts , with the first show scheduled for April 30th in Phoenix, Arizona. Billy Idol is expected to announce new tour dates soon.
