Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter invited Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day for a special appearance during their show last Thursday, the 26th, at the Tons Of Rock festival in Oslo, Norway.

The performance marked the meeting of three generations of punk rock to sing the Sex Pistols' 1976 classic, "Anarchy In The UK".

The two bands were one of the main attractions of the four-day event, which featured bands such as Muse, Avenged Sevenfold , Weezer , Turbonegro, Dream Theater, Powerwolf and others.

Steve Jones , Glen Matlock , and Paul Cook , founding members of the Sex Pistols , are touring with Frank Carter on vocals. Initially, the reunion was only intended for a benefit event in 2024, but the number of shows has increased. These shows are receiving good reviews from the press, as well as a positive reception from a segment of the fans.
