Bill Ward speaks in an interview

In an interview with Metal Talk, Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward spoke about missing playing the Paranoid , "Hand Of Doom":

"I simply love 'Hand of Doom'. It's so good to play. I wish I was still playing it. I miss it. But I love it, it's part of who I am.".

In the same conversation, the drummer also spoke about several albums from Black Sabbath's career, commenting on Master Of Reality :

"The coolest thing about being in a great band is taking risks.".

We had the foundation ready, we had the rhythms and the groove and everything, but then we decided it was time to take a risk. So someone, I don't remember who it was, it might have been Geezer, decided to put a huge church organ in the middle of 'Master Of Reality'.

And I think when we did that, it changed music, just by doing that. I think it showed people what Black Sabbath was capable of playing.”.
