Bill Ward speaks about Black Sabbath: "I'm at peace with them."

See the statement.

Black Sabbath founding drummer Bill Ward, who was absent from the band's reunion shows, spoke in an interview with Rolling Stone this week about his relationship with his former bandmates:

“The last time I saw Tony and Geezer was in 2015 and it was cordial. But this was the last time. I haven't spoken to anyone since, nor have I written. I think there have been some press releases that have come and gone, but that's all. I'm at peace with them. If something comes out that I feel isn't true, I respond in my defense; I need to defend myself. But generally, the way I see things isn't with resentment, it's not fear or hatred, nothing like that. I truly love those guys. I wish them the best in their lives. Every day I pray for their health and happiness. I don't hold grudges or arrogance or anything like that. I've felt this way for a while now.”

Ward also made it clear that if Black Sabbath wanted to reunite, he would be up for it

“Before, I was very upset, but I calmed down. I'm in a different place, I've moved on. But I haven't moved on from the idea of playing together, if they ever want to. I haven't moved on from that idea. It would have to be arranged. But if they've moved on from that too, that's fine, I support it. But I haven't moved on. I'm keeping an open mind.”.

It depends on what it is, what it would be like, but I definitely keep an open mind. It would be stupid of me not to. Time passes, we're getting old. I've loved these guys for a long time. I love Black Sabbath's music
