Check out excerpts from the interview with Ward.
In an interview with Classic Rock Revisited, drummer Bill Ward spoke about recent conflicts with Ozzy Osbourne, and the Facebook arguments his statement was a "sign of peace .
Bill refutes Black Sabbath's accusations that he was unfit to perform with the band: "According to their tactic, if I had signed the contract in 2013, I wouldn't have had health problems. These arguments only came after I refused to sign."
The drummer commented on the recent dispute between him and Ozzy on Facebook: “My statement was a sign of peace. I have nothing against Ozzy, no rivalry or anything. I simply stated the facts as they are and sought to improve the situation.”
Ward continues: “All Ozzy fans hate me. There’s a lot of controversy. My team and I care about the people who don’t like me, but they have every right to their opinions. I don’t agree with them that I’m an idiot, but I support their right to think that way. I’m at peace with it. I offered them a way out a few weeks ago.”
Bill Ward released his new album, Accountable Beasts, last month. Check out the album on iTunes .
