“I didn’t respond to that guy – a silly little man, really. But he didn’t mention Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Van Halen. It’s all rubbish – not even worth mentioning. I mean, Twisted Sister’s vocalist, Dee Snider, is still on tour, right? You know what I’m talking about?”
I just think it's a personal choice, and it's nobody's business, really, what I want to do, or what a guitarist wants to do. If a guitarist wants to say, 'I've done enough,' he's done enough and he'll go home and… I don't know… I don't know what the guy, Jay Jay or whatever they call him… He'll sit on the porch in his rocking chair with his pipe and slippers and disappear. We're Vikings. We don't do that shit.”
