Biff Byford , vocalist of Saxon , has announced that he will release a solo album. Titled School of Hard Knocks, the album's first single, "Welcome to the Show," has been released.
The album will feature guest appearances by Fredrik Åkesson , guitarist of Opeth , who collaborated with Byford throughout the project. School of Hard Knocks will be released on February 21, 2020 and is already available for pre-order by clicking here.
The news comes shortly after the vocalist underwent surgery and canceled some shows on Saxon's tour, updating fans that he will soon return to the stage with the group, which will also release a new studio album, although a release date has not yet been set.
