Biff Byford's solo album still has no release date
In an interview with Kaaos TV , Biff Byford , vocalist of Saxon , spoke about the songwriting process for his upcoming solo album. “I’m writing with some friends… We’re just writing songs at the moment. I’m writing a song with Fredrik Åkesson from Opeth , and a few other people.”
Asked which musicians he would like to work with on his next album, if he could, Biff said: "It would have to be someone like Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath , Eddie Van Halen , or something like that."
“It’s going to sound like Saxon, because I’m singing – you know, it’s going to be my voice. But it’s going to be a more diverse album – not so focused on heavy metal, but more diverse.”
