Beyond the Black released this Friday, the 12th, the single with music video “The Art Of Being Alone”, featuring Chris Harms , vocalist of the German metal band Lord Of The Lost . The single is part of the new album Break The Silence , which will be released on January 9, 2026 by Nuclear Blast Records.
In a press release, vocalist Jennifer Haben commented:
“'The Art Of Being Alone' is one of the most moving songs for us, as it was born from personal battles and silent reflections. We wanted it to be both fragile and powerful; we believe many of you will find your own stories between the lines. Having Chris Harms by our side, with his unique voice and personality, was absolutely perfect, bringing even more depth and making the track even more special.”
Chris Harms added: “This duet was long overdue! For over 10 years, LORD OF THE LOST and BEYOND THE BLACK have been crossing paths — we like and respect each other, and it was always clear that Jenny's voice and mine would work very well together. Now, finally, we've made it happen and created this powerful and breathtaking song together! I'm very happy with the result!”
The album features guest appearances by Chris Harms of Lord of the Lost , as well as Asami from the popular Japanese power metal band LOVEBITES .
Beyond the Black delivers a concept album rooted in melodic metal with ethnic influences. It explores themes of communication, inner strength, resilience, and the urgent need for reconnection in a divided world.
