Behemoth , The Shit Ov God , this Friday, the 9th, via Nuclear Blast Records . The Polish band also shared the single and music video for “Sowing Salt”.

Founder and vocalist Adam “Nergal” Darski commented on the album, which is the most extreme of the band's entire career: “Almost 35 years on the road, thirteen albums released — what an incredible journey. Now, with total honesty and open hearts, we deliver this to you. A new era begins, and we bleed for this monumental work! Take it, all of you, eat and drink from it, for this is our body given for you! Rejoice!”

The music video for "Sowing Salt" presents a post-apocalyptic and retro-futuristic aesthetic. The band explored new territories without abandoning their already established visual style and the themes built up over more than three decades of their career.

The band's 13th album, The Shit Ov God , was produced by Jens Bogren, known for his work with Emperor , Kreator , Rotting Christ , and others.
