Behemoth has released the title track from their new EP, A Forest , a rendition of The Cure , alongside Niklas Kvarforth of The Shining .
The single's release is accompanied by a rather dark music video, complementing the gloomy atmosphere that Nergal and Niklas gave to The Cure's track.
“Our new EP 'A Forest' will be released on May 29th, including the title track featuring Niklas Kvarforth from Shining! Covering songs outside of metal is a challenge – covering legendary songs is an even bigger challenge… that’s what motivated us throughout this process,” wrote Nergal.
The artist also gave more information about the new project, “The EP contains two brand new Behemoth songs, 'Shadows Ov Ea Cast Upon Golgotha' and 'Evoe'. The tracks function as a continuation of ILYAYD [ I Loved You At Your Darkest , 2018 album] – nothing more, nothing less.”
"We hope this brings some relief to anyone struggling during these strange times on our planet! Stay safe, stay positive, Hail Satan!", the announcement text concluded.
