In November, the White Album will be 50 years old
A new video for "Glass Onion," from The Beatles White Album , has just been released. The release precedes the 50th anniversary celebration of the White Album . The song appears on the classic album, which turns 50 on November 22nd.
The new video features rare footage of the band, including animated photos, films, and drawings, all combined to create a new poster. The new image was assembled by Paul McCartney , and the video art is by director Richard Hamilton . Watch the video on the iTunes Store .
Last month, it was confirmed that the White Album would be re-released for its 50th anniversary. The new edition of the iconic double album will be available in a series of packages featuring new mixes of the 30 original tracks.
