Beatles '64 arrived on the Disney+ catalog on November 29th, bringing back previously unseen footage of the Liverpool quartet from February 1964, when the band arrived in the United States, sparking the "Beatlemania" phenomenon.
The documentary recalls memorable moments from the Beatles in America. Among them, their performance on The Ed Sullivan Show for over 70 million people. According to information released on the band's website, rare archival footage filmed by Albert and David Maysles has been processed and restored in 4K.
Directed by David Tedeschi and produced by Martin Scorsese , Beatles '64 is a treasure trove of rare archival footage from the greatest band in history. In addition to rescued images, the documentary also features recent interviews with remaining members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr . Check out the trailer:
