In an interview with Mosh Talks With Beez , Shomo reportedly tried to describe what to expect from Below. “The easiest way I’ve tried to explain this record without giving too much away is that if Disease was AC/DC , this album is Black Sabbath ,” the musician said. “It’s much more influenced by dark stoner rock, heavy power groove. Obviously, there’s still a lot of fast stuff and a bit of punk rock and all that, but I’ve been exploring the stoner metal side of the guitars and guitar tones and doing different tunings and a lot of chaos and mess and adding a hell of a lot of layers to my guitar tracks.”
