Following an intense release schedule, Beartooth released their new song "Hell Of It" this Friday, the 23rd. This new track closely follows the arrival of " Devastation " and " The Past Is Dead ," all part of the album *Below* , which will be released on June 25th.
In a statement, vocalist Caleb Shomo commented on the new song. “'Hell Of It' is one of my favorites on the album. It's made to try and melt as many faces as possible. This song was very important for us to discover the guitar tone for the album and the use of pedals to expand on parts. The breakdown in this [track] is perhaps my favorite of all,” he said.
Previously, Caleb had already commented on his excitement for the album Below , which he described as "by far my favorite album of all time." The musician mentioned that he gave everything he had to the album's songwriting process and that, possibly, the result was too dark, especially covering "the dark side of dealing with mental stress during the last year."
Below 's sound will be like by using a comparison between great rock bands, saying that if 2018's Disease AC/DC , then the new album would be Black Sabbath .
