Beartooth is known among heavy metal fans for its energy and powerful live presence, as well as the heaviness of its music. With this in mind, the group decided to innovate .

Caleb Shomo and company went to the famous Blackbird Studio in Nashville to recreate four tracks from the album Disease (2018), including "Clever," which received a calm and moving acoustic version that you can listen to below.

In addition to that track, the group also recorded acoustic versions of "Disease," "You Never Know," and "Afterall." These reinterpretations will be part of an EP titled The Blackbird Session , to be released on September 13th.
