Documentary promises to demystify Kurt Cobain's death.
Commenting on the film, Jonathan Rothery , head of BBC Popular Music TV, said that the documentary contains visceral footage of moments immediately following Cobain's death.
Among the footage are rare and previously unseen archival images, such as the reaction of the electrician who found Kurt Cobain's body, accounts from the police team at the scene, and reactions from Nirvana fans upon hearing the news.
Regarding the final result, the documentary's producer and director, John Osbourne, says he is proud. Osbourne believes that using only archival footage takes viewers on a journey back in time to 1994, making the experience even more immersive.
Still speaking about the documentary, the director commented that Kurt Cobain's death left a huge void. Therefore, "the only way to truly understand what happened is to witness it firsthand, and that's exactly what this film does. It never lets you look away." (via NME )
