Battle Beast has released the new single “Last Goodbye”, the first taste of the band's seventh album, scheduled for release later this year.

Bassist Eero Sipilä commented: “The inspiration for 'Last Goodbye' came from the least rock 'n' roll place possible: a hospital. In 2020, I spent a few weeks there and met an elderly lady battling cancer—a battle she had been fighting, on and off, since 1985. It made me think: how far can a person go before giving up? But she never gave up.”

“He kept showing up, facing treatments, remaining present. Last Goodbye is a tribute to that human fighting spirit—to the will to get back up every time life knocks you down. As long as you’re breathing, you’re still in the game.”

With six albums released since their formation in 2008, and four consecutive number-one albums in their home country, the Finnish power/symphonic metal band is preparing for a European tour starting in October.
