Shavo says the band might go into the studio
System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian said in an interview with Madcap Music Review that the band has written their first new songs in a decade, and that they plan to enter the studio in the coming months.
In the interview, Shavo commented: “There’s a good chance we’ll go to the studio. I don’t have a date. We’ve already been, we’ve written some songs. But we’re keeping it between us .
In an interview with Rolling Stone, vocalist Serj Tankian said that the new System Of A Down album depends on the songs that are written: "I have some songs that could work for System, but I'll only know when I'm with them and see what they think."
System of a Down will be in Brazil for Rock in Rio , playing on September 24th.
