Baroness releases single “Beneath the Rose” from new studio album.

Baroness has released the single “Beneath The Rose”, the second track from her new album Stone , scheduled for release on September 15th.

The new release came with a music video directed by the band and edited by John Baizley and Nick Jost , just like the first single, "Last Word," which also has a video directed by Jost.

Upon releasing the song, the group issued a statement to the press commenting on the new release. “It’s great to release music again,” said John Baizley. “Especially a song like ‘Beneath The Rose,’ which we started writing during the Gold & Grey almost six years ago. During those sessions, the song never took off, but when we started writing Stone , one of the first things I did was take that main guitar riff out of retirement to see if we could breathe new life into the bones of that song.”
