The Cult will be playing three shows in Brazil in February, with Baroness as a special guest.
The shows will be produced by Liberation Music Company and will take place in Rio de Janeiro on the 22nd at Viva Rio, São Paulo on the 23rd at Vibra SP, and Curitiba on the 25th at Live Curitiba. This marks the quartet's return to Brazil after 6 years.
The band gained worldwide recognition after the release of the album Purple (2015), which reached tenth place on Entertainment Weekly's Top 40. It was highly acclaimed and included in several lists of the best albums released that year in specialized magazines such as Rolling Stone .

The band is led by Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitar) and has rock classics in its discography such as "She Sells Sanctuary", "Fire Woman", "Rain" and "Give Me Mercy" which are still played in the media and around the world today.
