For those who can afford it only: Barack Obama invited Bruce Springsteen to a podcast called Renegades: Born In The USA .

“Last year, I sat down with my good friend Bruce Springsteen for a long and meaningful conversation to talk about everything we’re dealing with these days,” the former US President wrote on his social media. “I’m excited to share it with you over the next few weeks.”

In the podcast trailer, Obama spoke about the friendship, “On the surface, Bruce and I don’t have much in common. He’s a white guy from a small town in New Jersey. I’m a mixed-race black guy, born in Hawaii. He’s a rock 'n' roll icon. I… am not so cool.”

Throughout the eight episodes, however, the duo discovers similarities between their lives, encompassing their relationships with their fathers, masculinity, the beginnings of their careers, and their love for the United States.
