Bangers Open Air 2026 has announced Arch Enemy as the new headliner for Saturday, April 25th. According to the festival, the band is "one of the most requested names in all editions".
In November, Arch Enemy announced the departure of Alissa White-Gluz , who had been the vocalist since 2014. According to Bangers Open Air, the band's new lineup will be revealed soon.
The festival's headliner slot was initially to be filled by Twisted Sister , who were to begin a historic reunion to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary exclusively at the festival. However, on Thursday night, the 5th, the band canceled all scheduled shows due to "a series of health problems" suffered by vocalist Dee Snider .
The bands Eluveitie and Cobra Spell also had their appearances canceled and will be replaced in the lineup by Ambush and Krisiun .
