Band fires bassist after offensive post about Ozzy Osbourne

Green Jellÿ confirmed that he has parted ways with bassist Michael “Fr33to F33t” Snyder after he posted an offensive meme

Green Jellÿ has confirmed that it has parted ways with bassist Michael “Fr33to F33t” Snyder after he posted an offensive meme about Ozzy Osbourne . The band is known for the 1992 song “Three Little Pigs”.

As reported by the website Loudwire , shortly after the news of Ozzy's death on July 22nd , Green Jellÿ shared on their social media a montage of the Black Sabbath holding a sign with the phrase "One Day Sober," mocking the singer's relationship with drugs.

Shortly after, lead singer Bill Manspeaker shared a different post, saying that he deleted the image as soon as he saw it published. He then claimed that Michael Snyder was the one who managed the band's social media.

After Manspeaker deleted the offensive post, the musician shared another image. Apparently generated by Artificial Intelligence, the idea was to pay homage to Ozzy and Hulk Hogan , but that post was also removed.

After the confusion, internal conversations between the musicians were leaked, and Bill Manspeaker confirmed that his relationship with Snyder was already troubled; in a Facebook post, the vocalist vented:

“The guy freaked out and started attacking me on Facebook. Now it’s turned into a smear campaign against me because I deleted the meme about Ozzy. Everything was fine until the moment I deleted the tasteless joke about Ozzy’s death. Nobody should be treated this way because they removed a disgusting post about Ozzy.”.

However, the musician also removed this post. The YouTube channel Staunch TV published a video titled “What’s happening with GREEN JELLY?”, which details the situation, as well as other things about the irreverent Green Jellÿ – showing the removed posts.
