WARNING: CONTENT CONTAINS VIOLENCE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE
Tommy Vext , lead singer of Bad Wolves, is being accused by his ex-girlfriend Whitney Johns of acting violently on numerous occasions during and after their relationship.
According to a report by MetalSucks , the incidents between the couple, who dated for nine months and lived together for two weeks, involved attempted rape, punches, throwing water in their faces, banging their heads against the floor, and threats of death and the leaking of intimate videos.
Whitney also recounts that after distancing herself from Vext and leaving town for a while, the singer called her once, threatening to kill himself and asking her to come to his house. She agreed and tried to comfort Vext; however, he prevented the model from leaving the house when he realized that the relationship would not be rekindled. At that point, Tommy acted with such violence that Whitney almost lost consciousness as she was being suffocated, and only managed to escape because he realized what he had almost done.
Johns didn't hold back and went to a police station to report what had happened, but Vext couldn't be located. She then filed a restraining order prohibiting the singer from contacting or coming within 100 meters of her.
A hearing was initially scheduled for May 8, but postponed due to the pandemic and at the request of Vext's lawyer. A hearing finally took place on November 17, and the next one is scheduled for today, the 9th.
