"And then, the bourgeoisie / Bastard daughter of democracy / Transforms itself into aristocracy," says the lyrics of "The Profane Rights of Man."

Bad Religion addresses a human rights crisis in their new song "The Prophane Rights of Man." The song is a manifesto against the "criminal elite" and features the band's trademark punk riffs and drum fills.

In a statement, vocalist Greg Graffin stated that "Bad Religion believes in a secular basis for the protection of rights." He added, "We wanted to emphasize that the Bill of Rights establishes that our society is based on a secular, not theologically sacred, justification for Human Rights."
