Brian Howe , former lead singer of the band Bad Company , has died at the age of 66, according to the news website TMZ .
The musician began his history with Bad Company in 1985, and first appeared on one of the band's albums in 1986, with Fame and Fortune .
The band achieved success with several hits that featured Howe, such as "Best of," "If You Need Somebody," "Holy Water," "Walk Through Fire," and "How About That."
Brian left the band in 1994 and pursued a solo career, releasing three albums. His most recent work is from 2010, with the album Circus Bar.
In a 2019 interview with The New Press, Howe spoke about his career with Bad Company: “If they [the fans] know the words to the songs you wrote in your bedroom – wow. What a transformation from a guy just singing a little melody into a recorder, putting it together in a studio and competing against millions and millions of other people who are doing the same thing. And suddenly, your music is pulled out of the pit of mediocrity… It’s a strange life, very surreal. But it’s amazing. It’s incredible. I loved my life. I loved it.”
According to a family member, the artist suffered from heart problems and ended up having a heart attack yesterday, the 6th.
