Thousands of professionals working behind the scenes in England's live entertainment industry took to the streets of Manchester last Monday, the 11th, demanding attention to the crisis they are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Security guards, sound engineers, producers, tour managers , cleaners, and even truck drivers who work in the industry mobilized through the hashtag #WeMakeEvents and the Red Alert Movement , which turned several important arenas and concert halls in the country, such as the National Theatre in London and the Royal Festival Hall, red-lit, symbolizing support for professionals during this difficult time.

Bands like New Order and The Cure also showed their support via social media.
