According to The Mirror , the brand, which bears the event's name, has gone through a trademark registration process in the United States. The registration falls under the category of "entertainment services in the form of live musical performances." The company has also requested permission to create official merchandise. Back To The Beginning took place 17 days before Ozzy's death.
His death occurred less than three weeks after his retirement from the stage, when Ozzy participated in Black Sabbath 's farewell show , which took place on July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Approximately 40,000 people attended the event, with 5.8 million people watching the show online.
Titled Back To The Beginning , the final show by the greatest heavy metal band reunited the four original members. Osbourne, bassist Geezer Butler , guitarist Tony Iommi , and drummer Bill Ward played together for the first and last time in 20 years.
