Axl Rose threw the microphone on stage during the Guns N' Roses , which took place last Saturday, the 18th, at the Huracán Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The incident occurred right at the beginning of the performance, at the end of the first song, "Welcome to the Jungle." According to comments from fans on social media, the vocalist became irritated due to technical problems, and at the end of the song, he threw the microphone on stage and stormed off.
Then Axl returned to the stage and said [as seen in a video posted by a fan ]:
“There’s a sound problem up here, and they won’t explain why. It’s not Mr. [Isaac] Carpenter’s [current Guns N’ Roses drummer] fault, but his drumming is blowing my mind. I think it’s so you guys can enjoy the percussion better.”
Guns N' Roses are currently touring Latin America with the Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour . The band arrives in Brazil this week for shows in Florianópolis (21), São Paulo (25), Curitiba (28), Cuiabá (31) and Brasília (November 2). The shows will feature an opening act by the band Raimundos .
