Axl Rose himself appears in cartoon form in an episode of Looney Tunes
It's been 10 years since Guns N' Roses released their last album, Chinese Democracy . While there are hopes that the band will produce new material, a song by Axl Rose Looney Tunes cartoon .
Axl's appearance in cartoon form begins when he reveals to Bugs Bunny that he will be playing a show in town. The character's fictional band is Steel Underpants .
So, the Looney Tunes characters warn Axl that a giant asteroid is going to destroy the Earth. Bugs Bunny then asks, "Are you all thinking the same thing I'm thinking?" Axl replies, "That I should go back to wearing a sports shirt and a kilt?"
Actually, Bugs Bunny's idea is for Axl's band to play so loud that it explodes the asteroid. So, the characters get together and play a song called "Rock the Rock" with Axl, which destroys the asteroid and saves the world.
The music sounds more like AC/DC than Guns N' Roses. And it's unknown which musicians helped Axl with the recording. Rose played with AC/DC in 2016 when Brian Johnson had to leave the band due to hearing problems.
Axl hasn't confirmed whether he actually lent his voice to the character, who sounds a lot like him. And Guns N' Roses used the Looney Tunes theme song to open shows on their Not In This Lifetime Tour .
