Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose engaged in a brief Twitter battle with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin .

In an interview with Fox Business, when asked if international flights would be allowed to resume this year, Mnuchin said that domestic flights are the priority.

"It's a great time for people to explore the United States. Many people don't know about some places in America."

Apparently, the suggestion to travel during a pandemic angered the Guns N' Roses vocalist, who took to Twitter:

"It's official now! Regardless of what people thought about Steven Mnuchin, he's now officially an asshole."

The Treasury Secretary immediately responded with a question for Axl Rose:

"What have you done for the country recently?"

In his message, Mnuchin included a flag that was supposedly the US flag. However, the flag the Secretary used is the Liberian flag, which resembles the US flag.

Taking advantage of the mistake, Axl concluded by having the last word in the discussion:

“My mistake for not knowing that we are trying to imitate Liberia’s economic model. But in reality, unlike this government, I am not responsible for over 70,000 deaths, and unlike you, I don’t hold a position of responsibility to the American people, and I’m not going on television to tell people to travel during a pandemic.”
