Avenged Sevenfold announced this Thursday, October 2nd, the new dates for their shows in Latin America and Brazil. After postponing the show in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the last minute , the band canceled all shows on their Latin American tour, including the shows in Brazil, which were scheduled for today, October 2nd, in Curitiba and Saturday, October 4th, in São Paulo.

The new dates are: January 28th, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski, in Curitiba, with opening act Mr. Bungle ; and January 31st, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, with opening acts Mr. Bungle and A Day To Remember . Some tickets are still available for the shows on the Eventim website.

The production company 30e also informed that all tickets already purchased are automatically valid for the new date. If the buyer is not interested in attending the shows with the updated date, they must request a refund directly through the Eventim sales platform.

The reason for the cancellation of Avenged Sevenfold's shows.

Through a reel on the official Instagram , M. Shadows , the band's vocalist, announced last week that the reason for the cancellation was due to health problems with his throat. The vocalist commented that it is the same problem he had in 2017, resulting in surgery because he couldn't stop singing and dedicate himself properly to treatment.

To prevent this from happening again, the band decided to cancel the continuation of the Life is But a Dream . The band will return in January 2026.
