Avenged Sevenfold records with orchestra for new album: "It's 90% ready"

Last November, M. Shadows summed up the band's relaxed attitude regarding deadlines, given that the album is a project started before the pandemic but suffered delays due to isolation restrictions. "We'll release it when we want to. That's the truth," he said at the time .

Now, the vocalist has decided to show another stage of the recordings: the work with the orchestra for the album. "It was worth the wait," he commented, showing his happiness with the final result.

Drummer Brooks Wackerman also expressed pride in the direction of the new album, which still has no release date . “We started writing this record four years ago and I don’t believe it’s 90% finished… One of the advantages – in the creative process – is that we get to accompany a 78-piece orchestra on our records. The fact that we can bring together incredible musicians to enhance our art still gives me chills,” he wrote.
